INTERVIEW WITH A MIDDLE CLASS ROCK STAR

Hello Big Blue World,

As I write this it is Sunday afternoon February 18th at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Snow is coming down in heavy, torrential waves, blasting sideways by my 8th floor balcony, adding a fresh coat of white to the ice and slush that fell last week and already clogs up the gutters and sidewalks of P Street down below. Didn't that sound poetic? No? Well, it's beautiful to look at while it's coming down...

Anyway - did you guys see Prince on the SuperBowl? All I can say is "WOW"! There is absolutely no one working in music today who can do everything he does and do it so very, very well. Singing, playing, dancing - and in the pouring rain no less. Purple Rain indeed.

And yes - I'm still waiting for "Sara" to drop at iTunes. The fact that the new single is obviously being delayed somewhat is actually a GOOD sign believe it or not. It's possible that Apple is going to feature the track in some way or other. As soon as I know what they're doing and when they're going to do it I will definitely let you guys know. The master for this track was turned in to my record label INgrooves back on the 15th of January so it's definitely in the pipeline for release.
